Senior Product Manager - Hirer

About The Role

You will be part of a passionate multi-functional Hirer team working directly with the Head of Hirer and other Senior Product Manager and engaging daily with Engineering, Design, Analytics & Marketing in the delivery of value to candidates. The role includes the supporting the definition and delivery of the hirer product roadmap for Jora and Jobstreet Express direct markets globally.

Key Responsibilities

Work with the team to define and deliver a roadmap of initiatives focused on growing hirer adoption and monetisation.

You will manage and drive the product deliverables (e.g., product requirements, UX designs, research, user testing) and work collaboratively within the development team to ensure smooth delivery of initiatives to market.

Key areas of focus for this role, with support of the Head of Product, are:

  • Problem Identification and Definition
  • Product Discovery and Delivery
  • Roadmap Development and Prioritisation
  • Competitor and Peer Analysis
  • Product Performance Measurement and Reporting
  • Relationship building with key partners

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Track record of defining and delivering roadmaps
  • Focus on understanding key metrics and drivers to inform decision making, and ability to roll up their sleeves to conduct analysis.
  • Customer centric – use customer feedback and forums to help understand underlying customer needs.
  • High level of comfort around ambiguity, with a mindset of test and learn, driven by data.
  • Ability to solve complex and detailed problems using an analytical and data driven approach.
  • Strong judgement and decision-making skills – ability to make a decision with customer, commercial, and technical trade-offs … often with limited information.
  • Highly developed communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organisation.
  • Build and maintain solid working relationships across product and delivery, Sales, Marketing and Strategy, as well as with clients and users.
  • Passionate about SEEK and making a difference to our customers.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative.

The successful candidate will also have:

  • Solid understanding of the agile software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in coordinating multi-functional teams with the ability to take people on the journey to deliver business outcomes where there are many unknowns.
