Senior Product Manager

AI overview

Develop world-class EdTech products by owning and evolving critical shared capabilities, improving product infrastructure, and driving global scalability.

GoodHabitz is an innovative, fast-growing organization on a mission to reshape corporate EdTech by creating world-class products that leverage cutting-edge technology. With a strong presence in Europe, we continuously strive to enhance our product offerings and expand our reach.

To support our continued growth and product transformation, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager who thrives in complex, multi-domain systems and enjoys turning structural complexity into scalable product foundations. While our current focus is Europe-first, we are building the technical and product infrastructure required to support long-term global scale. This role requires a deep understanding of mobile-first product strategy, user behavior, and competitive landscapes across multiple regions. While our current focus is on serving our European audience, we value insights from global markets to help shape our long-term vision.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own and evolve critical shared product capabilities that underpin activation, engagement, and learning experiences across GoodHabitz. This is a systems-oriented role focused on strengthening product infrastructure — such as CMS, user management, and shared services — to increase product coherence, engineering velocity, and long-term scalability. Your role is not only to ship features, but to improve the structural backbone that enables multiple product teams to move faster and more autonomously.

Your role is to turn complexity into clarity and friction into momentum, shifting value delivery from manual, people‑led workflows to scalable, product‑led experiences. You will report to the Director of Product.

Key Responsibilities

Product Infrastructure & Systems Ownership

  • Own and evolve shared product capabilities such as CMS, user management, and personalization layers.
  • Reduce cross-team dependencies by clarifying service boundaries and ownership.
  • Improve backend autonomy for domain teams through better product structure and standards.
  • Identify and eliminate systemic bottlenecks slowing activation delivery.
  • Treat internal platform capabilities as products with measurable impact.

Multi-Persona & Multi-Domain Systems Thinking

  • Understand how shared product capabilities affect different user types (admins, learners, managers) across journeys.
  • Balance simplicity, flexibility, and scalability when evolving shared infrastructure.
  • Ensure product foundations support both standalone native experiences and integrated LMS environments.

Product Strategy & Structural Roadmapping

  • Define and prioritize structural improvements that increase engineering velocity and reduce long-term fragmentation.
  • Articulate the strategic evolution of shared capabilities over a multi-year horizon.
  • Balance short-term feature delivery needs with long-term architectural coherence.
  • Treat roadmap as a sequencing tool for reducing systemic friction — not just shipping output.

Cross‑Functional Delivery & Alignment

  • Partner closely with Engineering Leadership and Architecture to define service boundaries and ownership models.
  • Clearly articulate the “why” behind product decisions and align stakeholders around a shared narrative.
  • Ensure platform evolution does not become a delivery bottleneck.
  • Translate technical constraints into clear product tradeoffs.

Measurement & Learning

  • Define and track metrics related to engineering velocity, cycle time, and cross-team dependency reduction.
  • Ensure improvements in shared services translate into measurable downstream impact on activation and engagement.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative signals to continuously refine platform and infrastructure priorities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, including ownership of complex, backend-heavy, or platform-adjacent domains.
  • Experience working on systems with shared services or cross-domain dependencies.
  • Comfort operating at the intersection of product strategy and technical architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous problem spaces and drive clarity, focus, and outcomes.
  • Background in B2B SaaS, platforms, learning products or CMS is a strong plus.

Skills & Competencies

  • Systems Thinking: Able to reason through service boundaries, architectural tradeoffs, shared capabilities, and second-order system effects across domains.
  • Platform Mindset: Understands how internal capabilities can accelerate or constrain product teams and proactively improves structural coherence.
  • Outcome Orientation: Focused on solving real user and business problems, not just shipping functionality.
  • Product Intuition: Able to form strong, reasoned points of view in ambiguous situations based on experience, understanding and awareness
  • Data‑Informed Decision Making: Uses data to learn and guide direction without waiting for perfect instrumentation.
  • Clear Communication: Can explain complex ideas simply and align diverse stakeholders around a shared direction.
  • Pragmatic Leadership: Balances ambition with sequencing, and progress with technical and organizational reality.
