Senior Product Manager - Data
TLDR
Play a crucial role in defining and delivering data products that align with business objectives while managing their complete lifecycle and collaborating with various teams.
- Champion the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products, ensuring their alignment with broader company objectives.
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements from various stakeholders, translating them into clear, concise, and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
- Prioritise the data product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic importance through leading refinement sessions
- Collaborate closely with data teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of data products
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements, ensure data quality, and facilitate the development of data-driven insights
- Manage the complete lifecycle of multiple data products, from concept and design to development, launch, and gather feedback for continuous improvement
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of data products, using data to identify areas for improvement and iteration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders regarding new product features. Furthermore, communicate regularly with stakeholders on product progress, challenges, and successes
- Champion internal promotion of the data products through posts, training and leading internal demo sessions to confirm that the delivered work aligns with expectations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data and analytics
- Lead, coach and mentor of Product Managers and team members in best practices for agile, stakeholder management and delivery
- 5+ years in product management of complex with high complexity, ideally in fast-paced/regulated environments
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Science, or a related discipline
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modelling concepts
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and change management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Experience in the iGaming industry
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with SQL and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in data products
- Relevant certifications in product management or data analytics
