AI overview

Own the development of clinical programs that improve member health outcomes while leading a dedicated product team to deliver measurable results and operational efficiency.

Location: Remote (EST/CST preferred), NYC area encouraged

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re seeking a strategic yet hands-on Senior Product Manager to own the development of Rightway’s Clinical Programs—the member and operational products that power our clinical programs for weight management, diabetes, and other chronic conditions.

In this role, you will own the product end-to-end, from member eligibility and enrollment experiences to the internal tools our clinical operations team uses to engage members, track progress, administer incentives, and manage program compliance. You’ll lead a dedicated product squad—including frontend web, backend, and React Native engineers, a designer, and dedicated data engineering support—to deliver measurable outcomes for members, clinical teams, and employer buyers.

This is a mission-critical position at the intersection of clinical operations, member experience, and outcomes/ROI measurement, with high visibility and direct impact on health outcomes and cost savings.

This is an individual contributor leadership role (no direct reports), with high ownership and visibility across the product.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Own the vision and roadmap for Rightway’s Clinical Programs, balancing member outcomes, operational scalability, and buyer value (efficacy + cost savings).
  • Define the end-to-end member journey for clinical programs: eligibility discovery → enrollment → ongoing engagement/check-ins → progress tracking → incentives/rewards → program continuation or exit.
  • Partner with clinical operations and leadership to translate program requirements into product experiences that are safe, scalable, and measurable.

Member Experience (Mobile + Web)

  • Build the in-product experiences that help eligible members:
    • Understand what the program offers and what incentives are available
    • Enroll seamlessly and complete required steps
    • Participate in ongoing check-ins and self-report key information (e.g., weight, glucose levels)
    • Track progress toward desired outcomes and receive supportive nudges/resources
    • Earn rewards (e.g., copay waivers) for participation and adherence
  • Design program adherence experiences that are clear, fair, and operationally supportable—including cases where members do not follow the program and may need to exit.

Clinical Operations Tools (Internal Products)

  • Own the tools that enable clinical operations to effectively serve members at scale, including:
    • Tracking changes in member health over time
    • Appointment scheduling and coordination
    • Monitoring adherence and identifying members who should be unenrolled
    • Identifying eligible members for targeted outreach
    • Operational reporting to understand program performance by customer and cohort
  • Translate real-world operational pain points into durable product solutions (not spreadsheets), and iterate through “thin-slice” releases to deliver value quickly.

Outcomes, Reporting & Buyer Value

  • Build the reporting foundation—partnering closely with data engineering—to measure:
    • Program adoption (eligibility → enrollment → activation)
    • Engagement and adherence
    • Health improvements across populations
    • Employer-facing value, including reductions in medication spending tied to improved health
  • Create buyer-facing experiences and/or reporting that enable benefits leaders at self-insured employers to assess efficacy and ROI, especially in the context of an integrated PBM + clinical solution.

Execution & Delivery

    • Translate needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics.
    • Lead agile ceremonies and manage a well-prioritized backlog across member experience, ops tooling, and analytics/reporting.
    • Drive cross-functional alignment among engineering, design, clinical ops, and customer-facing teams to ensure smooth rollout and adoption.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 5+ years of product experience, with 3+ years as a product manager delivering impactful digital products.
  • Experience owning end-to-end products spanning consumer/member experience and internal operational tools.
  • Strong ability to translate ambiguous workflows into scalable product systems and shipped outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with engineering and design to ship iteratively in a high-growth environment.
  • Comfort operating in healthcare-adjacent complexity (privacy, high-stakes workflows, multi-stakeholder environments).

EXTRA CREDIT:

  • Experience in digital health, care delivery, chronic condition management, or behavior change programs.
  • Experience building products that support clinical or operational teams (care management, scheduling, adherence tracking).
  • Familiarity with outcomes measurement, analytics instrumentation, and building executive/buyer-facing reporting.
  • PBM, specialty pharmacy, medication adherence, or healthcare cost/ROI measurement experience.
