Senior Product Manager, Acuity Scheduling - Embedded Experiences

New York , United States
Hybrid

AI overview

Lead the strategy for integrating Acuity's scheduling capabilities into various platforms, enhancing user experience and driving adoption across multiple modalities.

At Squarespace, we empower product teams to solve meaningful customer and business problems. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager for Acuity Embedded Experiences, the team responsible for bringing Acuity’s scheduling and business management capabilities directly into the platforms where customers already work, promote, and interact with clients.

You’ll define and execute the strategy that embeds Acuity’s core functionality: Client Scheduling Pages, admin workflows, APIs, and booking entry points into first-party and third-party surfaces. Because Acuity operates as its own product organization within Squarespace, this role requires deep cross-org partnership to ensure scheduling feels native within Squarespace, while still honoring the unique Acuity experience.

Acuity becomes more powerful when scheduling meets customers where they are. Embedded experiences drive activation, improve conversion, and reduce friction by allowing businesses to run scheduling directly inside the platforms they trust. And because not all scheduling works the same: appointment-based, class-based, project-based, or subscription – this role will test, learn, and validate solutions that fit each modality. You will advocate for the Acuity experience wherever it lives, ensuring our capabilities remain consistent, intuitive, and trusted across surfaces.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 1-3 days a week in our New York City office. You will report to the Senior Group Product Manager on the Acuity Scheduling team.

You'll Get To...

  • Own the roadmap for Acuity’s embedded scheduling experiences across Squarespace surfaces and external partner platforms
  • Lead the evolution of Acuity’s native experience within Squarespace so customers can configure and manage scheduling directly inside the site-building flow
  • Partner across the Squarespace org (product, onboarding, commerce, platform) to deliver cohesive experiences across shared surfaces and funnels
  • Make Acuity’s embedded experiences feel native to the platform they live in, with intuitive UX/UI tailored to those contexts
  • Ensure scheduling modalities—appointment-based, class-based, project-based, etc.—are surfaced appropriately on websites, while core configuration remains managed in Acuity

  • Experiment with new scheduling flows and lead-gen pathways, particularly for project-based sellers, using hypothesis-driven product development to validate what works
  • Influence the Squarespace service-seller funnel, including onboarding tasks, guided setup, and introducing Acuity at the right stage of customer intent
  • Partner with external platforms to integrate Acuity’s APIs, scheduling pages, admin functionality, and data flows into new environments
  • Use data, customer insights, and experimentation to inform prioritization and measure impact
  • Champion the Acuity experience and represent customer needs whether a feature lives in the Acuity product or across partner surfaces

Who We’re Looking For

  • 3–6+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with APIs, platform ecosystems, or SaaS integrations
  • Skilled in working across separate product orgs to align partners around shared goals and end-to-end customer flows
  • Curious, hypothesis-driven, and comfortable running experiments to learn what scheduling experiences work best for different business modalities
  • Strong technical communicator, comfortable working with engineers, external developers, and platform teams
  • Customer-centric thinker focused on reducing friction, improving activation, and ensuring a consistent Acuity standard wherever features appear
  • Track record of shipping features that improve adoption, onboarding, or conversion

Nice to Have

  • Growth product experience
  • Experience with website builders, commerce platforms, CRMs, or marketing tools
  • Familiarity with OAuth, REST APIs, webhooks, or third-party developer workflows
  • Background in B2B2C or embedded product design
