Job Purpose

We are seeking a Senior Product Lead on a 12-month fixed-term contract to take a holistic view of our current product landscape, assess performance and capability, and identify clear opportunities for growth, optimisation, and future product investment within a gaming environment.

The focus of this role is discovery, assessment, and strategic recommendation, rather than day-to-day delivery. The successful candidate will partner closely with data analysts and senior stakeholders to map where the product is today, where the greatest opportunities lie, and what a future-ready product roadmap could look like.

Experience in gaming or social gaming is desirable, but we are equally open to candidates from adjacent digital or platform-based industries who can bring fresh perspective and strong product discipline.

Key Objectives of the Contract

1. Map the Current Product Landscape

- Review and document the existing product ecosystem, including:

• Core product features and journeys
• Player lifecycle and engagement flows
• Current roadmap, delivery approach, and dependencies
• Assess product performance using available data, analytics, and stakeholder input.
• Identify strengths, gaps, technical constraints, and areas of friction.

2. Identify Growth & Optimisation Opportunities

- Work with data analysts to:

• Analyse player behaviour, retention, engagement, and monetisation metrics
• Identify underperforming areas and untapped opportunities

- Evaluate opportunities across:

• Player experience improvements
• Feature optimisation or removal
• Monetisation and revenue growth
• New product or feature concepts
• Conduct high-level competitive and market analysis.

3. Define a Future Product Direction

- Translate insights into a forward-looking product vision and set of strategic recommendations.

- Propose a structured product roadmap using prioritisation frameworks such as RICE, MoSCoW, or impact vs effort.

- Clearly articulate trade-offs, assumptions, and expected business impact.

4. Senior Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with:

• Data & Analytics teams to shape insight and recommendations
• Platform provider to understand feasibility and constraints
• Product to assess player experience quality
• Marketing teams to validate growth assumptions
• Act as a senior advisor to leadership, presenting findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and confidently.

5. Gaming, Compliance & Risk Awareness

- Ensure all recommendations consider regulatory, compliance, and responsible gaming requirements.

- Balance innovation and growth with risk management in a regulated environment.

Requirements

Essential

• Proven experience in a senior product leadership role (Product Lead, Senior Product Manager, Head of Product, or equivalent).
• Strong experience in product discovery, assessment, and strategic roadmap creation.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with data analysts and translate insight into strategy.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Desirable

• Experience in gaming, social gaming, gambling, or other regulated digital industries.
• Experience operating in fast-growth, data-rich product environments.
• Background in platform, SaaS, or digital consumer products.
