What is this role about?
As a Senior Product Engineer, you’ll be part of solving customer problems from ideation to achieved outcomes. You’ll enjoy a high degree of ownership, diverse set of problems (technology, regulations, user experience) and an environment that values problem-solving and collaboration.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Solve complex customer problems as part of the product team.
- Deliver initiatives from conception to meaningful results.
- Build, scale and run resilient production systems.
- Suggest continuous improvements to speed of delivery and learning through processes, tooling and teamwork.
- Maintain high code quality and architecture representative of the reality of the business to make sure the team does not slow down in the future.
What would ensure success in this role?
- Strong software engineering background and hands-on experience in .NET, C#, Java or any other strongly typed backend stack.
- Familiarity with frontend tech, preferably React.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and business.
- Product-driven and with previous experience in a fast-growing product company.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Bonus points for having
- Experience with Azure, Kubernetes and Docker
- Solid grasp of designing distributed systems
- Relevant domain knowledge (finance, credit, banking, insurance etc.)
What can you expect at Bondora?
