The Truecaller for Business team is a diverse and talented group of individuals dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the business communications space. This role requires a strong entrepreneurial thought process, coupled with solid B2B product fundamentals.

As a Senior Product Designer in the Truecaller for Business team you will have the opportunity to work closely with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers to build and design product ideas for our B2B customers across the globe while driving Truecaller app user experiences for business communications.  You will also be an important part of the overall evolution of the product, constantly iterating to give millions of Truecaller users a great experience.

What do we expect from you 

• 8-12 years of experience in working with designing for mobile with a large user base, experience in android will be preferred.
• You are a natural leader & passionate designer who can guide multiple designs and team members
• Have demonstrated an ability to execute, and drive, a variety of design-related activities
• Can facilitate design sprints, workshops, and brainstorming sessions
• Can compare and contrast feature experience journeys with competing products and influence feature direction in a particular product area. Owns product experience journey for one or more domains within the product.
• Can generate customer insights and influence feature direction
• Identifies gaps/inefficiencies in the Design process and contributes to improvements
• Can take ownership to lead design projects across multiple verticals by collaborating with the broader Designers, Product Managers, UI developers, Back-end Engineers, and other Engineering leaders
• Motivates and drives consensus across multiple functions (PM, Engineering & Design)
• Establishes oneself in the team and evolves rapidly to take on the management of a small team
• Can accurately assess, coach promising individuals, and give honest feedback
• Can do project management, resource, and roadmap planning and conducts reflection/ retrospective meetings for the team
• Can attract and develop talented design leads who are most capable of driving the company's success 
• Someone with excellent aesthetic sense and knowledge of Figma.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Good understanding of Material Design and Android Concepts and user behavior patterns.

What will you work on 

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and implement  innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience. 
• Work in multiple mobile application projects from concept to completion.
• Understand and validate  problem statements.
• Create design visualizations to help everyone understand what the best experience should be: user personas, storyboards, user flows, wireframes and prototypes.  
• Help developers and product owners with solving design challenges and document solutions.
• Make sure that the product is setting industry standards for excellence with innovative and beautifully clear designed products.
• Establish creative direction and develop concepts together with the product team.
• Provide quality control over concepts & projects by working with developers in translating designs into product, iterate and review until done.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
• Create effective interface designs through techniques such as composition, perspective,  space, grid structures, layouts, color schemes, themes, etc

It would be great if you also have

• Deep understanding of visual composition and knowledge of Typography, Colors and iconography.
• Understanding of Design process, wireframing & information hierarchy especially in relation to mobile applications and the web.
• Proficiency in Figma/Sketch/XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other equivalent interface design and  wire-framing tools. 
• Degree/diploma in User Experience, Interaction Design or similar
