Senior Product Designer

TLDR

Elevate user experiences through design QA and consistency, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape polished product features in a fast-growing fintech environment.

A fast growing Fintech in Latam with the mission to unlock SMBs’ potential by providing financial solutions and reimagining the financial infrastructure of Latin America,is looking for a Senior Product Designer to elevate the quality, consistency, and reliability of our user experiences across partners, while contributing to core product design initiatives.

This role sits at the intersection of Product Design, Frontend Engineering, and Product Quality, with a strong focus on experience consistency, implementation fidelity, and scalable design systems. You will ensure that what we ship matches the intended experience, while helping strengthen our design foundations and systems as we scale. You'll also participate in the ideation and launch of new product features and partner experiences across multiple markets. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining product thinking, craft, and systems thinking to shape polished user experiences at scale.

Design QA is a core responsibility of this role: you will own the quality of shipped experiences, not just at the bug level, but at the UX, UI, and interaction level.

In addition, you will actively contribute to product design initiatives, and help improve how design, product and engineering collaborate. You will report directly to the Product Design Lead.

We value empathy, collaborativeness, curiosity and experimentation, including the use of modern AI tools to enhance design workflows and efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Own Design QA across live products, ensuring fidelity between Figma designs and shipped experiences
  • Audit and fix UI/UX inconsistencies across flows, platforms, and partners, including edge cases and states (error, loading, empty)
  • Contribute to product design initiatives, from exploration to final UI, with a focus on usability and trust in financial flows
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Design Team and Frontend Engineers to ensure accurate implementation and smooth handoff
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize UX quality improvements and ensure quality standards are maintained before release
  • Build and evolve core UI components, patterns, and design standards across partners
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance Design QA, ideation, audits, and documentation
  • Improve Design QA processes, rituals, and frameworks to scale quality in a multi-partner environment

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 3-6+ years of experience as a Product/UI/UX Designer
  • Strong visual and interaction design skills, with high attention to pixel and copy precision
  • Proven ability to identify, prioritize, and drive fixes for UI/UX inconsistencies in shipped products
  • Experience with QA or testing practices (test scenarios, working with QA teams); automation exposure is a plus
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and agile environments, working on web and/or mobile products
  • Ability to translate requirements into edge cases, states, and clear interaction behaviors
  • Strong collaboration experience with Design teammates, Frontend Engineers and a solid understanding of implementation tradeoffs, responsive behavior, and UI architecture
  • Experience with design systems or component libraries
  • Fluent in English (Portuguese and Spanish are a strong plus, including UX writing/copy for those markets)
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or lending products
  • Experience working in high-growth startups or scaling environments
