Join Jobscan as our Sr. Product Designer in Taipei, Taiwan, and help drive meaningful revenue growth while empowering job seekers to land their dream roles.
You'll elevate Jobscan's design and branding standards, create and own our product design system for seamless user experiences, and contribute to impactful marketing initiatives. Staying self-driven, user-focused, and responsive to feedback and metrics, you'll make a real difference in simplifying the job search journey for job seekers worldwide.
Key responsibilities
Drive end-to-end design of homepage and key product experiences, applying modern UX patterns informed by user research and analytics to drive retention and growth.
Design and iterate custom graphics, icons, illustrations, and assets that align with product branding and campaign goals, integrating feedback from user testing.
Architect visual hierarchies, typography systems, color palettes, and layouts to optimize user flows, conversions, and accessibility across web and app surfaces.
Architect marketing pages with scalable methods
Partner with growth, product, and engineering teams to develop A/B variants, leveraging heatmaps, user session data, and metrics for iterative improvements.
Champion performance optimization (e.g., compression, modern formats) and ADA/WCAG compliance (contrast ratios, alt text, keyboard nav), mentoring visual designers on standards.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Able to have take online calls from 6:30am-10am Taipei time Tuesday to Saturdays (not everyday) with the US team.
Required skills & qualifications
Proficiency in English (Mandarin not required).
Design software proficiency. Skilled in Figma and Adobe Illustrator.
Experience at tech startups less than 200 people or entrepreneurial experience
UI/UX design experience for web applications.
Preferred skills
Design experience for mobile apps.
Heatmap/analytics/session reply review to suggest layout tweaks improving drop-off rates
Experience creating and managing a company wide design system.
Ability to design and test product UI/UX updates on focus groups.
