AI overview

Elevate the design of a mobile app that aids parents with personalized guidance while driving habitual user engagement through intuitive and visually appealing designs.

Who We Are

Good Inside is redefining parenting - not as something that should “just come naturally,” but as a skill to learn and practice. Founded by Dr. Becky Kennedy and Dr. Erica Belsky, we combine sturdy leadership with innovative technology to give parents personalized guidance, AI-powered support, and a global community.

Our mission: help parents raise resilient, confident kids in a changing world. We’ve already reached millions, and we’re just getting started.  We’re refining our product and expanding our reach to empower even more families.

We’re looking for bold, high-ownership problem-solvers who want to build something new, tackle big challenges, and be at the forefront of change.

 The Opportunity

Good Inside is looking for a talented and strategically-minded Senior Product Designer to join our fast-growing product team. This role will help elevate the design of our mobile app, both delighting users and reducing as much friction as possible. As a Senior Product Designer, you will work closely with the product team to create intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing designs that help parents understand Good Inside, convert them, and drive habitual engagement. This role reports to our Principal Product Designer.

This hybrid role requires 3 days per week in our Midtown Manhattan office.

What You’ll Own

  • 0 to 1 Design Ownership: Own product design end to end for your product area. Take ideas from an ambiguous problem into first shipped version quickly, make strong calls, and iterate in-market.
  • Product Partnership: Work as a true partner to Product, Engineering, and Content teams. Shape problem definition collaboratively, and push on scope, tradeoffs, and sequencing to maximize impact.
  • Speed & Execution: Move fast without sacrificing quality. Ship early, refine often, and know when “good enough” is right vs. when polish truly matters.
  • Taste & Craft: Set and uphold a high bar for visual and interaction quality. Make deliberate design decisions rooted in experience, usability, and brand.
  • User Insight: Use research and data when it’s useful. Talk to users, test concepts, and translate insights into clear design direction, without slowing momentum.
  • Prototyping & Validation: Create prototypes to help refine ideas and champion/evangelize product features internally.
  • Innovation: Lead design in new product areas where structure is missing. Create clarity, systems, and direction where none exist.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile app designs for consumer products.
  • Expertise: Proven track record of designing products that drive habitual user engagement.
  • Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Jira
  • Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and influence stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment, with a proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
  • Organization: Exceptional organization and project management skills
  • Autonomy: Ability to take ownership of projects, and drive design solutions from start to finish while keeping teams aligned.

What We Offer

  • Compensation: Annual salary for this role will be $170k - $190k
  • Company Equity
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • 401k + Company match
  • Time off to recharge
  • Hybrid work environment
  • A high-ownership, high-performance, high-collaboration culture
