Senior Product Designer - FleetOps (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape the tools that power Enpal’s FleetOps ecosystem. You will work alongside our Director of Design and the larger design org, enabling and enhancing our team such as - Guided Installations, Solution Monitoring, IoT monitoring, and B2B operations, designing data-heavy web interfaces used by installers, field technicians, and internal operations teams. This role suits a systems thinker who enjoys complex workflows, cross-team collaboration, and bringing clarity to evolving product environments.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Journey Ownership

• Design workflows that span multiple tools and product verticals
• Identify UX gaps and handover issues across systems such as GIS, IoT Dashboard, and Monitoring
• Ensure operational journeys like installation, commissioning, monitoring, and investigation flow smoothly from start to finish

UI and Interaction Design

• Create and optimize complex, data-rich web interfaces
• Simplify operational workflows while preserving essential detail
• Balance usability with technical and backend constraints

Design Systems

• Contribute to and evolve existing design systems
• Build scalable components and patterns when needed

User Research and Field Understanding

• Partner with Product Managers on interviews, field shadowing, and usability testing
• Translate insights into actionable UX improvements
• Design for real-world constraints such as time pressure, connectivity, sunlight, and gloves

Collaboration and Product Thinking

• Support three product teams while driving clarity in a low-design-maturity environment
• Co-create with engineers and Product Managers
• Operate confidently in strategic ambiguity while balancing long-term vision with short-term improvements

Data-Informed Iteration

• Use analytics, feedback, and testing to refine designs
• Form and validate UX hypotheses before scaling solutions

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product UX and UI design, ideally in B2B, internal tooling, IoT, manufacturing, or other data-heavy domain
• Strong interaction design skills for complex web interfaces
• Experience working across multiple teams and product areas
• Proficient in Figma and familiar with design systems
• Comfortable in low-design-maturity environments
• Experience with user research and service-design method is a plus
• Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG
• Mobile experience is beneficial for the installer app
• German proficiency at B2 level preferred
