About the Role
As a Senior Product Designer at Arkham, you'll be instrumental in shaping the user experience of our cutting-edge Data & AI platform. You'll work closely with our C level, engineers, and data scientists to translate complex data concepts and AI functionalities into intuitive and impactful user interfaces. Your work will directly empower our customers to unlock the transformative potential of their data and AI capabilities.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing User-Centered Data Experiences: Creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces for data visualization, AI model interaction, and data pipeline management.
- Translating Complex Data Concepts: Simplifying complex data and AI concepts into clear and understandable user flows and interfaces.
- Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Partnering with engineers, and data scientists to define product requirements and design solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
- Developing and Maintaining Design Systems: Contributing to and maintaining a consistent design language and component library for our Data & AI platform.
- Driving Innovation in Data Visualization and AI Interaction: Exploring and implementing innovative design solutions to enhance user engagement and understanding of data and AI insights.
You will play a crucial role in enabling our customers to harness the power of Data & AI, driving adoption and expansion across their organizations. Your designs will directly influence how users interact with and understand complex data, ultimately leading to better decision-making and business outcomes.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- User-Centered Data Visualization & Interaction Design: Design intuitive and engaging interfaces for visualizing complex data sets, interacting with AI models, and navigating data pipelines.
- Contribution to our Design System for Data & AI: Contribute to and maintain a design system that supports consistent and scalable user experiences for data-driven applications.
- Accessibility & Inclusive Design: Ensure designs are accessible and inclusive for all users, considering diverse needs and abilities.
- Key flows inside our Data & AI Platform: Contribute and own full flows inside the platform, improved it daily and maintain it.
- AI Feature Design: Design user interfaces for AI-driven features, such as predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and generative AI interactions, ensuring clarity and ease of use.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design for complex applications.
- Design Tools: Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma.
- Information Architecture & Interaction Design: Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design principles, and user flows.
- Data Visualization Principles: Understanding of data visualization best practices and the ability to design clear and effective data representations.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of Data & AI Concepts: Basic understanding of data and AI concepts.
Bonus Skills
- Experience designing interfaces for AI-powered products: Experience designing interfaces that incorporate machine learning models or AI functionality.
- Experience with generative AI tools: Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, but also AI Studio and Notebook ML
- Experience with design systems for enterprise applications: Experience creating and maintaining design systems for complex enterprise products.
