We are looking for a Senior Product Designer, AI Experiences with a strong design foundation and solid experience designing AI-powered products, including conversational, generative, and agent-to-agent experiences. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and other Product Designers to shape intelligent workflows and multi-agent interactions that are intuitive, effective, scalable, and trustworthy.

As a senior individual contributor, you will own end-to-end experience design, from discovery through prototyping and validation, while designing agent behaviours, conversation systems, and AI-driven interactions. This role is critical to raising the quality bar of AI experiences across SmartRecruiters and building foundations that enable teams across the organization to design and connect their own agents.

What you will do:

  • Discovery initiatives: Lead the end-to-end discovery for AI-driven experiences, including conversational challenges, broader product features, and new agents. Apply systems thinking, orchestration modelling, behavioural logic definition, conversational evaluation, and multi-agent flow exploration.
  • Experience design ownership: Design, prototype, and validate experiences following UX best practices, SmartRecruiters product design standards, and Design System guidelines. Own experience definition from concept through validation, using the right fidelity and tools for each stage.
  • Agent behaviour and orchestration: Define how agents interpret intent, decide, escalate, hand off, and transition. Create behaviour guides, guardrails, and routing rules across agents and channels.
  • Conversational systems: Design dialogue patterns, error recovery, fallback and escalation, multi-turn flows, and reusable prompt or policy templates. Ensure coherence across LLM-driven interactions and deterministic workflows, maintaining clear, natural language throughout the experience.
  • Evaluation and learning loop: Build and evolve evaluation frameworks. Analyze conversation logs, sentiment, behavioural data, and outcomes to continuously iterate and improve experience quality.
  • Cross-channel experience: Design experiences that extend across Microsoft Teams, Slack, SMS, WhatsApp, and partner ecosystems. Align language, behaviour, and intent consistently across touchpoints.
  • Inclusive and responsible AI design: Advocate for accessible, transparent, trustworthy, and human-centered AI experiences. Champion patterns and behaviours that support diverse users and follow Responsible AI and accessibility best practices.
  • Enablement and scale: Document playbooks, patterns, and frameworks. Facilitate workshops and provide consultative support so other teams can identify opportunities to design agents that connect into our conversational experiences or operate contextually across the platform.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with Product Designers, PMs, Engineers, and Data analysts to define use cases, refine prompts and interaction logic, analyze conversation and behavioural data to ensure consistency, high-quality agentic and conversational experiences across products.

  • 5+ years of experience designing complex B2B digital products
  • Strong background in Product Design with end-to-end UX ownership
  • 2–3+ years designing AI-powered, conversational, agentic, or multimodal experiences
  • Solid mastery of UI and UX foundations, including interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles
  • Proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping workflows (E.g. Vibe code tools)
  • Experience designing and validating complex systems involving AI, agents, or automation
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions
  • Strong systems thinking across UI, conversational, and orchestration layers
  • Experience collaborating closely with PMs, ML and Backend Engineers, Data teams, and Designers
  • Familiarity with Responsible AI, inclusive design, and accessibility standards
