Job Summary:
The role of Senior Producer is one of the most exciting roles in the organization where the resource will be given utmost freedom to try and learn different aspects of broadcast. The Senior Producer will be primarily be responsible for the production of live shows which will include planning, scripting, pre-production, post-production and planning the show run-orders. The role would entail working in multiple sports. The role would also entail scripting and translating scripts and graphics into Telugu from English.
About the team:
The Telugu content team was established in 2018 and is one of the versatile teams in the Indian sports world. The Telugu content team has managed to achieve a high amount on penetration in both AP and TS.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure high quality, creatively executed productions with effective shooting/editing/scripting
Segments ideas for the show, treatments for segments
Research on stories, and adequate communication of information to the show producer with suggestions on how the story is to be presented
Following the editorial and creative guidelines for the show
Ensuring high quality scripting, story development, pre-production, production and post-production on stories
Skills & Attributes for success
Strong language skills – Reading and ability to script in Telugu
Working with graphics artists and operators for translations for live and non-live shows
Knowledge of live broadcasting’s various aspects
Understanding of sports
Networking in the television production industry and knowledge of production houses as well as freelancers with requisite production skills
Creative story ideation
Experience of live/taped as live shows and of producing high quality features, understanding of good camerawork and editing
Good communication skills
Preferred Education & Experience
2 to 4 years of relevant experience with prior experience in sports/news broadcasting will be preferred
Graduate/Post Graduate in any content/creative stream
Journalism or Media background would be an added advantage
Relevant experience in the world of sports would also be helpful
