ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Senior PR & Communication Professional to join our PR & Events team. In this role, you will help strategically position Sofascore as a recognizable premium product. If you are ready to take on diverse challenges and showcase your adaptability across various platforms, you will thrive at Sofascore.

Dedication to a singular product will give you a clear direction and a strong sense of brand, while the extensive and varied nature of our projects will ensure that your role is anything but monotonous. In this role, you will take ownership of both external and internal communication activities, work closely with media representatives, and help shape Sofascore’s presence in the sports industry.

Your tasks and responsibilities 

• Independently plan and execute innovative PR campaigns (from brief to results) that increase brand awareness, engage target audiences, and highlight our product in creative and trend-forward ways
• Own and proactively manage media relations, ensuring consistent and high-quality communication
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure timely delivery of communication materials
• Monitor industry trends and propose communication opportunities based on data and insights
• Support internal and external events
• Support corporate sponsorship and expo activities
• Track and manage PR activity budgets, ensuring accurate reporting and responsible spending allocation
• Maintain a good level of sports knowledge, as it helps with the job

What you bring to the team

• 5+ years of work experience in the PR & communications industry 
• Creative thinker who stays ahead of PR trends, generates outside-the-box ideas, and translates them into impactful storytelling across diverse platforms
• Advanced proficiency in English
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to independently move tasks forward
• Experience in creating sports-related content 
• Proactive mindset
• Ability to work as part of a small team while effectively collaborating with various teams across the company
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a dedicated, curious working approach
