  • Stakeholder Engagement: Our team facilitates coalition-building, outreach, and public forums, ensuring that diverse voices shape health system improvements. 
  • Program Implementation & Assessment: We help launch and refine programs aimed at expanding access, reducing costs, and improving outcomes. 
  • Strategic Advisory Services: Through data-driven insights, we advise clients on payment reforms, managed care initiatives, and innovative care models. 
  • Technical Assistance: We provide hands-on guidance and tools to help clients overcome regulatory, policy, or operational challenges—ensuring smooth adoption of new initiatives. 
What You’ll Do 
  • Design, build, and maintain advanced Excel-based tools, including complex formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, trackers, and structured datasets.  
  • Develop and manage detailed project management trackers, calendars, and workplans to monitor deadlines, deliverables, dependencies, and responsibilities. 
  • Track tasks across multiple teams, ensuring accountability and timely completion of deliverables. 
  • Support federal and state policy initiatives through preparation and coordination of reports, submissions, and documentation for government agencies. 
  • Interpret grant requirements, federal funding opportunities, contracts, and reporting standards to ensure compliance with funding requirements. 
  • Track grant milestones, deliverables, and reporting cycles. 
  • Collect, clean, validate, and organize large datasets to support reporting and analysis. 
  • Prepare clear status updates, trackers, and summaries for internal leadership and external stakeholders. 
  • Coordinate inputs from cross-functional teams and consolidate information for reporting and leadership review. 
  • Proactively identify risks related to timelines, data quality, or compliance and escalate appropriately. 
 
What We’re Looking For  
  • Bachelor’s degree required.  
  • Minimum 6 years of experience working in health care policy or programs. 
  • 3–4 years of experience in a fast-paced consulting environment. 
  • 3–4 years of experience in project management. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, and structured data management). 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with demonstrated reliability in managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. 
  • Understanding of federal and/or state grant management activities, including milestones, deliverables, and reporting cycles. 
Ideal Qualifications  
  • Master’s degree  
  • Working knowledge of behavioral health policy  
  • Experience in data science, quantitative research, implementation science, applied research, survey instrument design and implementation, and analysis 
  • Experience with STATA and/or R Studio 
  • Experience managing federal, state, or philanthropic grants for behavioral health initiatives and projects 
Location 
Aurrera Health Group is a fully remote organization and candidates from all areas of the country are encouraged to apply. Occasional travel to company events, meetings, and client sites may be required, but the primary workstation for this position will be remote.   
As a national firm, the Aurrera Health Group team works across four time zones. This position must be available to work Pacific or Mountain Time hours.  
Compensation and Benefits 
Aurrera Health Group offers competitive salaries based on industry standards and experience, skills, and responsibility. We maintain equitable pay bands for employees based on these factors. The starting pay range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year, with an opportunity for an end-of-year bonus.
