🎯 What You’ll Actually Do

• Architect, refactor, and scale a platform with dozens of services and high transaction volume.

• Be the technical backbone of the squad: code, review, debug, mentor — daily.

• Tune performance until it screams: latency, throughput, bottlenecks, efficiency.

• Make tough calls: design trade-offs, rewrites, tech debt that actually matters.

• Own incident response and RCA: fix the root cause and prevent repeats.

• Push PoC-first thinking: test fast, scale what works, kill what doesn’t.

• Work side-by-side with Product and Architecture: one team, one goal.

🧠 What You Bring

• 5+ years backend experience building and operating production systems.

• Strong in Node.js / TypeScript, async flows, service-to-service communication (gRPC/HTTP), Kafka.

• Real production exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, AWS.

• You understand distributed systems in practice: retries, idempotency, backpressure, failure isolation.

• You lead engineers by competence and example (even if your title wasn’t “lead”).

• Bonus: ClickHouse / PostgreSQL / MongoDB / DynamoDB.
