🛠️ Senior Platform Engineer – Cloud Architecture, Automation & DevSecOps (Full-Time, Remote)
Launchpad is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud-native infrastructure. In this role, you'll drive key initiatives across Operations, Infrastructure, Security, and DevOps, helping us scale platforms that are fast, resilient, and secure.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, improve development workflows, and champion DevSecOps from design to production.

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing
- Architect and implement cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with technical and business needs
- Lead platform engineering projects, ensuring clear specs, realistic timelines, and resource alignment
- Proactively identify risks and remove blockers across projects, processes, and teams
- Work closely with Software Engineers and Product to align platform capabilities with development priorities
- Refine operational processes to enhance stability, performance, and scalability
- Improve deployment automation, observability, and DevSecOps best practices
- Research, integrate, and manage tools that improve infrastructure efficiency and security
- Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high platform availability and resilience
✅ What You Need to Succeed
Must-haves
- 5+ years of experience in cloud/platform engineering, with strong Azure expertise
- Proven leadership delivering scalable infrastructure solutions
- Hands-on proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and PowerShell
- Strong understanding of both relational (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and secure release processes
- Familiarity with Scrum methodologies and agile project management
- Ability to drive both short- and long-term engineering objectives
- Clear communicator, capable of aligning technical vision with business goals
- Strong problem-solving skills and autonomy in fast-paced settings
