We are currently looking for a Senior PHP/Laravel Developer to join our team for a part-time, short-term position.
Key Responsibilities

Feature development: Design and develop new features using PHP 7.1+ and Laravel 5.8, ensuring quality, maintainability, and compliance with both functional and technical requirements.

Maintenance and optimization: Fix bugs, improve performance, and refactor legacy components following clean code principles, SOLID practices, and internal standards.

Database integration: Design, modify, and optimize database structures (MySQL). Create migrations, seeds, optimized queries, and work with Eloquent ORM.

API development and integration: Develop and integrate REST APIs, ensuring security, consistency, and proper documentation of endpoints. Integrate with geospatial services like OpenStreetMap and Geoapify.

Code review: Participate in code reviews to ensure technical quality, share knowledge, and promote continuous improvement within the team.

Team collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers (Vue.js 2.5/Bootstrap 4), QA, UX/UI, and PMs to ensure deliveries aligned with deadlines, scope, and quality standards.

Automation and testing: Create and maintain unit and integration tests using PHPUnit.

Documentation: Maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation for developed components, technical decisions, and key system workflows.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in PHP 7.1+ and Laravel 5.8 framework (Eloquent, Queues, Jobs, Events, Middleware, Blade).
- Strong experience with Vue.js 2.x and Bootstrap 4.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL).
- Version control using Git.
- Familiarity with Docker, Composer, and CI/CD tools (nice to have).
- Experience with REST API development and third-party integrations.
- Autonomy: ability to analyze problems, propose solutions, and move forward without constant supervision.
- Quality orientation: focus on clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Strong communication skills: English Level B2
Education
- A degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is valued.
- Strong, demonstrable self-taught experience is also considered.
