Responsibilities:

Take over ownership of the existing performance test scripts from vendors
Schedule, design and drive performance tests
Improve efficiency of performance tests
Improve test reliability and time taken for performance test runs
Improve performance of applications in terms of user experience and satisfaction

Requirements

Designing, implementing and optimizing processes for performance testing
Designing performance tests, with details around desired environment set up, areas to test, expected results and explanations for deviations
Establishing and tracking metrics for application and service performance to drive improvement and accountability
Work with stakeholders across engineering and QA teams to ensure alignment on goals
Driving application and services performance improvements through collaboration with respective engineering teams
Design ways to track and report the results of and efficacy of performance test runs
