Job Summary

Highly skilled Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, optimize, and support complex database systems. The ideal will have extensive experience with Oracle databases and strong expertise in PL/SQL programming, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning. Will work closely with application developers, analysts, and DBAs to deliver efficient and scalable database solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities & Duties 

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL code, stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers to support application functionality.
• Optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL blocks to improve performance and maintainability.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and data architects to implement robust database solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot database-related performance issues and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security through proper development practices.
• Write and maintain technical documentation including data dictionaries, process flows, and design specifications.
• Assist in data migration, transformation, and integration between systems.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong expertise in writing and optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, packages, and functions.
• Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
• Familiarity with Oracle 11g/12c/19c databases.
• Solid understanding of relational database design, data modeling, and normalization.
• Experience with Oracle tools such as SQL*Plus, TOAD, or SQL Developer.
• Proficient in writing technical documentation and adhering to development standards.
