Responsibilities:
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our backend infrastructure. You'll be working on exciting projects, leveraging your skills in Node.js, as well as your experience with frameworks like Nest.js. Additionally, you will contribute to the efficiency and scalability of our systems, ensuring seamless integration with various technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience shipping production code through continuous deployments in Node.js.
• Familiarity with Nest.js framework. Experience with any similar framework will be considered if you do not have prior Nest.js experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of production experience with message queues (AWS SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ, or similar AMQP based technology).
• Proficiency with Docker or similar container platforms.
• Experience with Restful or RPC-based APIs.
• Ability to write behavior-based test suites using Jest / Mocha-Sinon-Chai.
• Fluent in English.
• Fundamental knowledge of the expected hurdles related to developing large scale applications in Node.js gained through production experience.
• Robust monitoring experience of all systems affecting the backend infrastructure and features/data integrity.
• Maintain a strict stance on upholding security best practices, swiftly identifying and addressing any potential vulnerabilities or threats.

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AWS.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a curiosity to find solutions to complex problems, even when dealing with legacy code bases.
