Your team
Join our 1CORE team as a (Senior) Network Software Developer (all) and contribute to performant processing and routing of our telecom UDP network traffic.
This role can be located in Riga, Latvia or fully remote +/-3 hrs from EET.
Your mission

Network Traffic Processing: Write efficient and high-performance C code to process telecommunications network traffic.

Session Management Development: Develop Go code for telecom session management (no prior Go experience required).

Feature Implementation & Troubleshooting: Implement new features and resolve software issues as they arise.

Code Quality & Testing: Review code written by others and create automated tests to ensure the reliability of your own code.

Collaborative Decision-Making: Participate in implementation-related discussions and decisions with Product Owners.
Your skills

Programming Skills: Solid programming experience in C; experience with Go is a strong plus.

Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking concepts such as IP, routing, and related protocols.

Network Programming: Hands-on experience with technologies like VPP, DPDK, or eBPF/XDP is highly desirable.

Language Proficiency: English proficiency at B2/C1 level is required for effective communication in an international team.

Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

Telecom Knowledge: Understanding of mobile telecommunications, particularly mobile core network architecture and relevant industry standards.
