Senior Network Engineer

Role: Network Engineer (IP/MPLS)

Location: Singapore

We are partnering with a leading telecommunications organization to hire a Senior Network Engineer to support and enhance large-scale IP/MPLS core network environments. This role is critical in ensuring secure, resilient, and high-performing network operations that power both consumer and enterprise services.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support for complex IP core and enterprise network environments

• Design, implement, and optimize network solutions across multi-vendor platforms

• Troubleshoot critical network issues and ensure minimal downtime

• Lead network transformation initiatives, including tech refresh and PoCs

• Perform upgrades, patching, and security hardening of network infrastructure

• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability reviews

• Monitor network performance and recommend continuous improvements

• Manage L2VPN/L3VPN provisioning and migrations

• Support cloud and government network connectivity projects

• Handle incident response, escalation management, and vendor coordination

• Prepare technical reports and present insights to stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise or service provider network engineering

• Strong expertise in IP/MPLS networks (BGP, OSPF)

• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and network management tools

• Proven track record in network upgrades, migrations, and incident recovery

• Ability to operate in high-availability, 24/7 environments

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
