Job Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in ERP systems, specifically Connected Business, to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, maintainable, and efficient .NET applications. This role demands a deep understanding of ERP workflows, system integration, and operational support. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • ERP Development: Design, develop, enhance, and maintain features and custom modules within the Connected Business ERP system using .NET technologies. 
  • System Integration: Work on integrating Connected Business with other systems and third-party applications using APIs, web services, and data exchange mechanisms. 
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for code, systems, operational processes, and deployment procedures. 
  • Code Review & Refactoring: Participate in code reviews, propose and implement refactoring strategies to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability. 
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and resolve system-related issues in a timely manner. Analyze logs and data to identify root causes. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure code follows best practices, security standards, and internal coding guidelines. 
  • Mentorship: Assist junior developers through coaching, training, and code walkthroughs when needed. 

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of any IT-related course (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering). 
  • Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in the IT industry, particularly in enterprise application development using the .NET framework. 
  • ERP Knowledge: Strong experience working with Connected Business ERP or similar ERP platforms is a must. 
  • Tech Stack: 
  • Proficient in C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core 
  • Knowledge in SQL Server, stored procedures, and database optimization 
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and system integration 
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (optional but preferred) 
  • Dev Tools: Experience using source control systems (e.g., Git), issue tracking tools, and CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication. Can explain technical terms in layman's language when needed. 
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with the ability to quickly understand complex systems. 
  • Documentation Skills: Able to write clear and structured technical documentation for internal and operational use. 

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points): 

  • Direct experience in customizing or implementing Connected Business modules (Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of business processes in retail, distribution, or manufacturing 
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
