Senior .NET Developer

Ardanis Technologies Limited are looking for a skilled .NET Developer (.NET and C#) with some lead experience to join our team with an immediate start. This role is ideal for someone who is highly motivated to work with our team who produce high-quality solutions for our customers. You will be a key player in our team helping with design, development and guiding other team members. The ideal candidate should be passionate about software development craftsmanship and be interested in emerging technology and approaches. A hands-on approach with an eye on best practice and processes are required for the role. 

Requirements

• Implement solutions as per technical design and participate in design activities as required
• Planning and estimation of development tasks as part of the SCRUM team and strive for accuracy while meeting deadlines
• Participate in the full development lifecycle of new functionality and enhancements on greenfield and existing applications
• Commitment to producing high quality, highly performant and robust software within agreed time estimates and to agreed quality standards
• Participate in changes, and continuous improvements to existing software development, testing and deployment processes
• Ability to work hands on in a fast-paced, agile work environment supporting your colleagues as required
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with multiple business and technical teams.

Skills

• 5+ Years of .NET development experience
• 5+ Years C# development experience
• Strong practical knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript, HTML & CSS skills
• Experience unit testing (Jest, Mocha, NUnit, Moq etc)
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Experience working with ASP.NET Core MVC
• CSS pre-processing such as SASS, SCSS or LESS
• Experience working with Git and related contribution workflows (feature branches, pull requests etc.)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (Entity Framework, Dapper etc.)
• Experienced in utilizing the power of Microsoft Azure
• Experience with test-driven development and behavioural driven development.
• Experience using SpecFlow(optional)
• Experience with Agile Development and SCRUM
• Experience with Azure DevOps practices such as CI/CD, Continuous Testing and Infrastructure as Code
• BSc degree or higher in engineering, or equivalent experience
• Expert in back-end software engineering, including data models, persistence layers, back-end services, caching strategies, API design and implementation and asynchronous messaging.
