The Role

We’re seeking a high-impact Marketing Technology Manager to lead the technical architecture of our Lifecycle Marketing team. In this role, you will be the bridge between marketing strategy and technical execution, responsible for optimizing and scaling the data-driven engine that powers our customer journeys. You will manage a sophisticated stack to deliver targeted, relevant, and timely information that drives practitioner growth and maximizes lifetime value (LTV).

Responsibilities

  • Architect & Optimize: Own the technical roadmap for the Lifecycle Marketing stack, ensuring our tools (Iterable, Segment, Snowflake) are integrated and optimized to support complex, multi-channel customer journeys.
  • Lead Technical Execution: Act as the primary technical lead for campaign operations, managing everything from data orchestration and API triggers to the implementation of modular email systems (Dyspatch).
  • Data Stewardship: Partner with Data Engineering to maintain a robust data pipeline. You will ensure high data integrity within Segment and Snowflake to power accurate segmentation and real-time personalization.
  • Scale Omnichannel Capabilities: Drive the expansion of our messaging capabilities, including the infrastructure for SMS (Twilio), push notifications, and advanced in-app experiences.
  • Measurement & Analytics: Build and maintain the frameworks necessary to measure key growth metrics. You’ll leverage tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and Rockerbox to translate technical performance into actionable growth insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the key liaison between Marketing, Product, and Engineering to align technical investments with business requirements and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Innovation & AI: Identify and implement cutting-edge MarTech solutions, including AI-driven features within Iterable and Segment, to automate touchpoints and improve campaign efficiency.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Marketing Technology or Operations, with a deep understanding of how to build and scale lifecycle marketing ecosystems.
  • Hands-on mastery of Iterable (or similar ESPs like Braze/Iterable), Segment (CDP), and Snowflake (Data Warehouse).
  • You are comfortable with SQL and have a strong grasp of data schemas, identity resolution, and how data flows between disparate marketing systems.
  • Highly proficient with digital analytics and attribution tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and Rockerbox.
  • You have a "builder" mentality - you can take a complex business requirement and translate it into a scalable technical workflow.
  • Excellent communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence roadmap prioritization.
  • You have a rigorous approach to QA, deliverability monitoring, and technical troubleshooting to ensure zero-fail campaign execution.
