About the Role

We’re seeking a talented, detail-oriented, and self-driven Senior Designer to join Cambly’s Global Creative team. In this role, you’ll help shape the look and feel of Cambly’s marketing across global and local campaigns, creating engaging visuals—from static designs to motion assets—that resonate with learners worldwide. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, and localization teams to adapt assets for multiple markets, ensuring brand consistency while tailoring creative to local audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design compelling creative assets for global marketing campaigns across digital channels (ads, landing pages, email, and social).

  • Create motion graphics and short-form videos that highlight product features and brand storytelling.

  • Translate creative briefs into strong, on-brand visual concepts.

  • Collaborate with the global creative and marketing teams to localize campaigns for six or more markets—including China—while maintaining visual and brand consistency.

  • Help define and scale creative processes for localizing assets efficiently across languages and regions.

  • Ensure that all deliverables align with Cambly’s brand identity and marketing objectives.

  • Work closely with copywriters, strategists, and localization teams to create cohesive, high-performing campaigns.

  • Stay current with design and motion trends to bring fresh/innovative creative ideas.

Requirements (Must-Haves)

  • 5+ years of experience in digital/graphic design, ideally within tech, consumer, or education brands.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital marketing and campaign design.

  • Native in Chinese and Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).

  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects).

  • Strong visual composition, animation, and typography skills.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects across time zones.

Nice to Have

  • Experience adapting global campaigns for multiple regions and languages.

  • Experience designing for global brands or startups

  • ​​Understanding of motion design or video editing.

  • Familiarity with localization workflows and cross-cultural design adaptation.

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools for ideation, layout, or animation.
