Senior Manufacturing Technician

Quantum-Si is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Technician to join the Operations team supporting day-to-day manufacturing activities. This is a hands-on manufacturing role and also requires some leadership and planning skills.

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:

• Programming, setting up, maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting production equipment
• Preparing and assembling consumables including but not limited to chips, reagents, kits, and other products
• Performing formulations and wet chemistry processes in a laboratory environment
• Performing in-process testing to ensure product specifications are met
• Collaborating with Planning and ensuring the production demands are met
• Compiling, analyzing and presenting data
• Conducting filling, labeling, capping and packaging which includes light to medium automation
• Executing, reviewing and completing batch records accurately
• Ensuring accuracy of inventory for supply chain and finance excellence through regular cycle counting and material control via batch record reconciliation
• Entering build transactions in the ERP system (NetSuite) to reconcile material assemblies
• Authoring Work Instructions, Batch Records and Standard Operating Procedures
• Partnering with technical writer to ensure accuracy of batch records and work instructions
• Assisting in bringing up a new manufacturing line
• Providing data for process mapping and time studies for operational excellence initiatives
• Participating in improving manufacturing processes through optimization strategies and efficiency suggestions
• Following all safety protocols and workplace policies
• Keeping the workplace clean and organized
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma, preferred AS in Engineering or related field
• 6 year minimum experience in a similar role 
• Working knowledge of GDP, GMP
• Excellent in Microsoft Office software
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines on time
• Requires fine motor skills

The estimated base salary range for this role based in the United States of America is: $70,000-$90,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, level of the position, an individual’s skills, knowledge and abilities, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all full-time employees are eligible for our discretionary bonus program and equity as part of the compensation package.
