Position Summary:
Swiftly is searching for a Senior Manager, Technical Program Management and Product Operations to scale how product is planned, built, and delivered across the organization. This leader will own the operating system for Product and Engineering, ensuring clarity, execution excellence, and tight alignment to business priorities.
This role partners closely with Product Leadership, Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM teams to drive predictable delivery, strong decision making, and continuous improvement. You will lead a team of TPM professionals while also acting as a hands-on operator for the most complex, cross-company initiatives.
This is a full time contract role. We use Deel as the contract of record.
Responsibilities Include:
Own cross-functional planning and execution for complex, multi-team initiatives that span Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM
Drive quarterly and annual planning, including roadmap orchestration, dependency management, capacity planning, and milestone tracking
Ensure clear ownership, timelines, and accountability across initiatives, surfacing risks early and driving resolution
Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to translate strategy into executable plans
Design, implement, and continuously improve product operating rhythms, including intake, prioritization, planning, delivery, and retrospectives
Own and evolve product planning frameworks, roadmapping processes, and decision forums
Establish and maintain tooling and workflows across Jira, Confluence, and related systems to ensure visibility and consistency
Build strong feedback loops across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
Lead execution for high-impact technical programs such as platform investments, data and infrastructure initiatives, major launches, and architectural migrations
Manage technical dependencies across teams and systems, working closely with Engineering leadership
Drive crisp communication for complex technical efforts to executive and non-technical stakeholders
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of TPMs. Set clear expectations, career paths, and performance standards for the team
Act as a thought partner to Product and Engineering leaders on org design, team topology, and scaling challenges
Define and track delivery and operational metrics that reflect product health and execution quality
Use data to identify bottlenecks, improve predictability, and drive operational excellence
Champion a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement
Other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Product Operations, or related roles
3+ years of people management experience leading senior, cross-functional operators
Proven experience operating at scale in complex product and engineering environments
Strong systems thinker who can design processes without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
Deep comfort working with engineering teams on technical concepts, dependencies, and tradeoffs
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and executives
Track record of driving clarity and execution in ambiguous environments
Experience leading risk assessment and mitigation strategies across multiple teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
Experience using Jira and Confluence
