At Bezos Academy, we believe all children deserve the great start that excellent early education provides, including in under-resourced communities. Our mission is to nurture the potential in every child to become a creative leader, original thinker, and lifelong learner by inventing the solutions needed to scale early childhood education. We are a unique organization that operates a multi-state network of tuition-free, Montessori-inspired preschools in under-resourced communities while also investing in creating tools, products, technology, and other solutions designed to reach children well beyond the walls of our schools. We aspire for profound, large-scale impact on children ages zero to five.
As the Senior Manager, Systems Engineering at Bezos Academy, you will lead the team responsible for building, operating, and continuously improving a secure, reliable, SaaS-first enterprise technology environment. This is a player-coach role: you will set direction and develop people, while also remaining hands-on in critical technical areas. To this role you should bring a combination of strong people leadership with hands-on technical depth, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft 365 for workplace productivity and Microsoft Entra ID as the backbone for identity, access governance, collaboration, and security.
You will own foundational infrastructure across multi-site networking (Meraki) for 40 locations, endpoint and mobile device management, cloud integrations, and SaaS platform administration. You will also support enterprise AI enablement, ensuring AI capabilities are deployed with strong identity and data controls, operational readiness, and scalable support patterns. You will deliver outcomes through disciplined program and project management practices, partnering closely with IT, Information Security, and business stakeholders.
