WHAT IS YOUR ROLE
As an Architecture Studio & Design Senior Manager, you will be the right hand and strategic partner to the founder and our Manila based Studio. You will oversee daily studio operations, guide strategic initiatives, and lead a high-performing team of designers, 3D artists, and modelers. This role is ideal for a process-minded leader with deep experience in creative environments, particularly architecture or design, who can balance creative integrity with scalable systems, people leadership, and commercial success.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Studio Leadership & Strategic Execution
- Partner with the founder to set and implement strategic direction and operational priorities across the studio
- Translate business vision into studio-wide workflows, systems, and execution plans
- Represent the studio externally with clients and partners, reinforcing trust and design excellence
- Foster a studio culture of creativity, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Financial, Systems & Operational Oversight
- Own all operational dashboards, KPIs, and reporting (utilization, profit margin, project delivery timelines)
- Manage project profitability tracking and install forecasting into project planning
- Transition accounting from Wave to Xero, including automation workflows and partner with finance to oversee AR, aging receivables, and monthly financial hygiene
- Design and enforce repeatable processes for scoping, resourcing, and delivery
- Lead the implementation of operational frameworks such as EOS or OKRs to align the team and improve accountability
- Creative Team Management & Capacity Planning
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of designers, 3D artists, and modelers
- Monitor team capacity and resourcing needs, balancing full-time and contract talent
- Own talent development, processes hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and professional growth
- Design and manage a variable compensation model tied to performance metrics
- Strategic Growth & Delivery Excellence
- Support business development efforts through proposal generation, contract templates, and onboarding workflows that enable smooth project launches.
- Build and refine studio SOPs around project delivery, client communication and feedback cycles that maintain high-quality outcomes.
- Implement HubSpot as a source of truth for the sales pipeline and delivery planning
- Build dashboards to forecast revenue and flag risk before it hits delivery
- Support exploration of AI tools that enhance workflow and reduce production bottlenecks
- Anticipate operational needs and proactively resolve issues to free up executive bandwidth and maintain momentum on strategic initiatives.

YOU HAVE…
- 5+ years experience in architecture studio management, studio operations or as Chief of Staff in a creative firm
- 3+ years of people management, ideally leading multidisciplinary creative teams
- Prior experience working in architecture, interior design, visual production, or a related design discipline.
- Experience implementing KPIs and tracking financial performance across projects and teams.
- Experience working with Financial Data
- Obsessed with systems, accountability, and financial hygiene
- Proven experience building operational systems and scaling internal processes in creative or design environments
- Proficiency in tools like: Google Sheets, Xero, HubSpot, Notion, Toggl, and AI apps
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail

- Based in the Manila, the Philippines (preferred) or available to fly in for studio outings and work aligned hours remotely
