Sr Sales Operations Manager - Sales Data Quality

About the Role: 

At Motive we believe that effective Data Stewardship gives any business a competitive edge.We are seeking a Sr. Operations Manager (Sales Data Quality) to join our Account team under Sales Ops. This role is responsible for the quality and integrity of data in our Salesforce org with a particular focus towards account and contact quality. Candidate should be willing to learn new technologies and should be passionate about data and sales.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Coach and mentor an org of 10+ managers and ICs
  • Interact with Sales executives and department heads, Understand challenges and opportunities in the different sale segments / team, Analyze data to identify areas of improvement to improve data quality 
  • Responsible for Sales Data Quality at Motive, you will ensure our  Strategic/Enterprise AEs to our SDRs are fully equipped to be successful in their roles
  • Implement effective processes and procedures to proactively improve account and contact quality and drive sales volume up
  • Understand and set up/clean up Account hierarchies to ensure we are targeting the right accounts, Identify and remove duplicate Accounts, Merge duplicate Accounts in Salesforce
  • Prepare Accounts and Contacts to be handed over to Sales team

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Sales Operations, Sales Development or Analytics roles (working with Enterprise/Fortune 100 customers) 
  • Experience leading/manager first line managers and IC in Sales Ops org (global preferred) 
  • Experience in fast growing SaaS/software enterprise company 
  • Previous people management experience. Past experience hiring and growing team members, leading teams in a fully remote environment (Sales Ops /Data Quality teams preferred) 
  • Excellent communication skills, Ability to effectively communicate to different levels of an organization
  • Previous experience with sales processes, account and opportunity management, past Enterprise sales experience, larger accounts and longer/complex sales cycles
  • A solid understanding of Salesforce and overall Sales Applications ecosystem 
  • Expertise in Excel (including VLOOKUP, pivots, Sorting and Filtering, …)
  • SQL experience querying data sets
  • Previous experience with reporting in Salesforce, Tableau or other CRM and BI systems
  • Bachelors/Masters education, MBA 

 

Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. Motive uses three geographic zones to determine pay range. For this role, the compensation ranges are:
San Francisco, California
$129,200$174,800 USD
U.S. metropolitan areas: Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City Area, Seattle, Washington D.C.
