Senior Manager, Risk Operations Strategy

TLDR

Lead the design and implementation of a global risk management system, enhancing fraud detection, process efficiency, and regulatory compliance across various payment channels.

OKX will be prioritising applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require OKX's sponsorship of a visa.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Risk Control Strategy Design: Lead the strategic planning and iteration of OKX's global fiat payment channels, including ACH, bank transfers, and card payments.
  • End-to-End Risk Management System: Develop a comprehensive risk management system focused on transaction risks, fraud identification, and user risk stratification.
  • Process Optimization: Enhance the risk control manual review process and user verification through improved operational workflows and AI capabilities.
  • Efficiency Evaluation: Monitor and optimize moderation efficiency metrics such as SLA, automation rate, and false positive rate.
  • Policy Development: Write and maintain risk control policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational manuals.
  • Automation Focus: Increase the automation percentage within risk control processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with product, engineering, and compliance teams to integrate risk control strategies system-wide.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with AML/Compliance partners to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in risk control strategies. 

What We Look For In You

  • 5+ years of product management experience in the risk management area, familiar with risk decision engines, modeling services, risk analytics tooling etc
  • Ability to translate product strategy into detailed requirements, and communicate the requirements clearly to cross-functional teams, including but not limited to engineering, business, partnership, operation, merchant tech etc; solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience in software development
  • High proficiency delving into the technical product, system and implementation details. Able to engage with engineering beyond just product and user experience needs; willing to roll up sleeves and design scalable and extensible solutions
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle, including product research, design, delivery and launch
  • Data oriented - identifying, defining, tracking and acting upon impact metrics. Experience identifying KPIs and working with engineering and analytics on instrumentation and monitoring
  • Experience leading cross functional teams to deliver complex projects with multiple dependencies and constraints in a highly dynamic environment

Nice-To-Haves

  • Personal trading experience or education in financial or payment risk management.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is an added bonus as you might cross functionally collaborate with tech individuals that can only speak Mandarin.
