About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Agile Delivery to lead and mature the organization’s Agile delivery capability. This role manages the Scrum Master/Delivery Manager team, owns the Agile delivery framework, and oversees the governance and optimization of product development tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and road mapping platforms).

This leader ensures consistent, predictable, high-quality delivery across all product teams and serves as a critical partner to Product, Engineering, and Executive leadership. The position demands a blend of technical acumen and strategic thinking. We are looking for a trailblazer who thrives on innovation without sacrificing clarity and supportability. You will motivate your teams, champion Agile methodologies, and collaborate with leaders throughout the organization to deliver high-quality solutions within defined timelines. This is a hybrid role based out of our downtown Phoenix corporate office.

Essential Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop Scrum Masters and Delivery Managers.
• Establish clear role expectations, career paths, and performance standards.
• Build a high-performing delivery organization capable of supporting multiple product teams.
• Drive hiring, onboarding, and professional development within the delivery function.

Agile Practice Ownership

• Define, evolve, and enforce the organization’s Agile methodology and delivery standards.
• Ensure consistent execution of Agile ceremonies and best practices across teams.
• Improve metrics and reporting frameworks (e.g., velocity, predictability, throughput, cycle time).
• Champion continuous improvement and foster a culture of empirical decision-making.
• Facilitate cross-team planning, release readiness, and dependency management.

Product Tools Ownership

• Own the strategy, governance, administration, and optimization of product and delivery tools, including:
• Jira
• Confluence and documentation systems
• Road mapping and intake tools
• Workflow automation and reporting platforms
• Ensure standardized workflows and data integrity across all product teams.
• Develop dashboards and reporting insights to enhance leadership visibility.
• Manage tool vendors, contracts, and system configurations.

Portfolio Coordination & Visibility

• Provide a unified, real-time view of roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, and status.
• Refine portfolio-level rituals (release planning, quarterly planning, roadmap review cadences).
• Support alignment among Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams.
• Surface bottlenecks, organizational impediments, and systemic issues.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Partnership

• Collaborate closely with the CTO, Product leaders, and Engineering leaders to ensure roadmap feasibility and execution quality.
• Serve as the champion for delivery predictability and process scalability.
• Drive adoption of consistent intake, prioritization, and road mapping processes.
• Provide coaching to leaders and teams on Agile principles and modern delivery strategies.

Requirements

Qualifications

• 7–12+ years of Agile delivery experience (Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Delivery Manager, RTE, or similar)
• 3–5+ years of experience leading delivery teams or managing Scrum Masters
• Deep, hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean)
• Strong expertise in Jira administration
• Proven success improving delivery processes across multiple teams
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and cross-functional leadership skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret delivery data to generate actionable insights
• Ability to travel up to 30%

Preferred Experience

• Experience in SaaS, logistics, transportation, or compliance-oriented environments
• Experience working with distributed product and engineering teams
• Experience leading organizational change in scaling companies
• Knowledge of portfolio-level planning frameworks (Scaled Agile, OKRs, program planning)
