Role Summary
Sophos is seeking a Senior Manager, North America Field Marketing to lead execution of regional marketing programs and support pipeline creation, progression, and conversion to revenue across the U.S. and Canada.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for executing integrated marketing programs that align to regional priorities and deliver measurable business outcomes.
You will act as the primary day-to-day marketing partner to Mid-Market sales leadership, contributing to pipeline generation in that segment, while supporting broader field marketing initiatives across Enterprise and Commercial.
What You Will Do
Execute integrated field marketing programs that generate qualified pipeline and support progression to closed business across North America, with a focus on Mid-Market.
Partner with sales leadership to align on priorities, develop joint plans, and ensure marketing programs support pipeline progression, conversion, and attainment of regional revenue targets.
Execute regional marketing plans aligned to Americas Marketing priorities and global program strategy.
Activate global engagement programs (events, account-based engagement, and customer programs) within North America.
Manage execution of the field marketing budget, optimizing spend across programs to improve performance.
Prioritize regional programs and activities based on pipeline impact, sales needs, and performance data, making tradeoffs to maximize results within available resources.
Plan and deliver field events aligned to global frameworks and regional priorities, with a clear focus on driving high-quality engagement that converts to pipeline and revenue.
Partner with Global Engagement Programs to support execution of executive engagement and customer programs in-region.
Collaborate with Channel Marketing to support partner activation and co-marketing programs.
Adapt and localize global campaigns for effective execution in North America.
Monitor program performance and optimize campaigns based on pipeline quality, conversion rates, and contribution to revenue outcomes.
Champion adoption of AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve efficiency, scale execution, and enhance decision-making.
Manage and develop team members, providing direction and coaching to support delivery and performance.
Expected travel: 20–30%
What You Will Bring
6–10 years of B2B marketing experience in field, demand generation, or regional roles.
Experience executing marketing programs that drive pipeline and demonstrate impact on conversion, deal progression, or revenue outcomes.
Strong understanding of digital demand, field programs, and event execution.
Experience working in a partner-led or channel-driven environment.
Experience managing and developing team members or leading cross-functional initiatives.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Experience working with modern marketing and sales tools, including CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), marketing workflow and automation tools (e.g., Asana, Stensul), event platforms (e.g., Goldcast), and analytics/reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI or similar).
Analytical mindset with experience using marketing tools to measure performance.
Demonstrated experience applying AI-powered tools or automation to improve efficiency.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
In Canada, the base salary for this role ranges from $125,000 to $209,000. In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $142,000 to $236,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additional compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
