We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Legal Operations & Contracts to serve as the operational lead for HHAX’s Legal function. This role blends hands-on contracting, legal operations leadership, process optimization, and legal technology enablement. The Senior Manager will partner closely with attorneys and cross-functional teams, drive scalable operational processes, and provide oversight of contracts workflows. As the function grows, this role will take on direct leadership responsibilities, including future hiring, coaching, and workload delegation.

Essential Job Duties
Legal Operations Leadership
· Design, implement, and optimize scalable legal operations frameworks, processes, and systems.
· Lead operational execution across contract workflows, legal technology, compliance processes, and legal administrative functions.
· Develop strategies to streamline legal operations and reduce legal, operational, and contractual risk.
· Manage administration of outside counsel and external legal spend.
Contract Management
· Prepare, draft, negotiate, and review commercial agreements, regulatory filings, reports, and insurance applications.
· Lead contract lifecycle management (intake, review, negotiation, approvals, workflow, signature, and archival).
· Oversee interpretation of contract terms and ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
· Serve as a subject-matter partner to the business on contract process, redlines, and negotiation protocol.
Legal Technology & CLM Ownership
· Recommend, implement, and manage legal tech solutions, including CLM platforms.
· Lead or support the configuration, rollout, and optimization of CLM workflows (templates, approvals, governance, metadata).
· Drive cross-functional adoption of legal technology in partnership with Sales, Finance, Operations, IT, and Compliance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner closely with attorneys and business stakeholders on legal initiatives, process improvement opportunities, and cross-functional projects.
· Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence without authority across multiple departments.
Leadership & People Management
· Provide day-to-day operational oversight of Legal Operations & Contracts workflows.
· As the function scales, lead hiring, onboarding, performance management, workload delegation, and career development for future team members.
· Establish clear goals, set expectations, and model operational excellence and accountability.
· Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture that elevates the Legal team’s visibility across the business.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree required; JD or paralegal certification a plus.
7–10+ years of legal operations, contracts management, or in-house legal experience, ideally within technology, SaaS, or regulated environments.
Demonstrated experience improving processes, designing workflows, and implementing legal tech solutions.
Strong ethical standards and respect for confidentiality.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate legal concepts for business stakeholders.
Proficient in legal research, document management, CLM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Comfort working independently and communicating with executives and senior leaders.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without authority.
The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $130,000-$150,000, not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
