We’re looking for a Senior Manager on the Health Systems Partnerships team to help us accomplish our mission to improve and extend lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer. Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?

What You'll Do

You’ll be responsible for expanding our network of academic medical centers and health systems by cultivating new partnerships. You’ll be responsible for developing a pipeline of prospective partner sites, and shaping the partnership strategy. You'll bring to the team an understanding of academic medical centers and health systems, a track record for developing successful partnerships with academic medical centers and health systems, an analytical approach to problem solving, and strong relationship building skills. You will join a cross-functional team and focus on:

  • Building and maintaining an active pipeline of prospective academic medical centers and health system targets for Flatiron to partner with 
  • Leading meetings with senior health system and/or cancer center leaders, and cultivating long-term relationships with sites to enable successful partnerships 
  • Owning end-to-end sales process, including influencing institutional stakeholders to secure buy-in for data access and commercialization agreements
  • Collaborating with internal cross-functional stakeholders to structure and negotiate partnership agreements 
  • Becoming an expert on Flatiron’s RWE product offerings and reliably represent our capabilities to demonstrate the value of our partnership 
  • Represent Flatiron as a valuable partner at key industry conferences, panels, and networking events
  • Developing and managing metrics to drive success of our sale process and identify opportunities for improvement

At the end of your first year, success would mean cultivating sufficient leads to a point in the sales process to meet the company-wide goals for network growth. 

Who You Are

  • You have 6+ years of experience in healthcare, life sciences, biotech, or a related field, with a focus on strategic partnerships, business development or client management
  • You have excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • You are a self-starter and are able to prioritize tasks and proactively seek solutions or ask for help when blocked from completing a task
  • You have the ability to juggle multiple client / customer interactions and deadlines simultaneously
  • You're a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who values the opportunity to think beyond the way things are
  • You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity

Extra credit

  • You have experience working with oncologists and members of oncology care delivery teams
  • You have experience working with academic medical centers, large health systems, or hospital innovation offices to fully grasp the complexities of institutional decision-making

Where you’ll work

$140,000 – $210,000 per year
