The newly formed eCommerce team is singularly focused on evolving the Spoonflower.com experience to even better help homeowners and small businesses create beautiful, elevated spaces that are uniquely theirs. Everything that you see on the site—from UX and search technology to email capture and brand positioning and more—is an area of opportunity.
This Senior Manager, eCommerce, role will be a critical leader as we embark on the next stage of our growth. Helping to drive the everyday success of our digital business, they will own much of our CRO (conversion rate optimization) strategy and execution, including leading our A/B testing and landing page programs. You’ll be able to see and feel your impact.
Key Impact Areas:

Strategy and Planning: Play a principal role in spearheading the roadmap and storytelling on Spoonflower.com, simultaneously focusing both on boosting the now and our transformation in the soon.

Ownership: Help manage the everyday performance and optimization of the site by leading CRO:
- The A/B testing program, from prioritization and planning to ensuring successful launches and driving overall outcomes
- Our landing page strategy, closely collaborating with performance marketing partners to create cohesive user journeys and maximize CAC efficiencies
- The evolution of our CMS to better bring to life our brand and innovative site experiences

Consumer Marketing: Be a critical player in a wide range of site initiatives such as E2E journey mapping, email capture, SEO, pricing and promotions, and more.

Content Creation: Flex your creativity by building landing pages and helping with copy writing as needed.

Collaboration: Be the point of cohesion for the site amongst cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Merchandising. While we all play a part, the final act ultimately comes together on the site.

Analytics and Insights: Tap into your passion for data to understand our KPIs, levers, and what moves the needle. Curate insights and prioritize action items to maximize impact.
You are:
- A self-starter and “jack” of all trades who is eager to learn even more—and fast
- Resourceful and not afraid to get your hands dirty
- Obsessed with good digital experiences, often screenshotting inspirational examples
- Almost unwavering in your commitment to the consumer
- A serial buyer, especially on mobile
- Usually on the latest software or app update (maybe 1 release behind)
- Not afraid to try something new—and occasionally fail
- A confident decision maker who also knows there’s usually not just one right answer
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in and passion for website strategy and execution (on either marketing or product teams), driving conversion
- eCommerce experience preferred but not required
- Demonstrated excellence working with cross-functional teams, in particular with performance marketing
- Familiarity with various CMS, analytics, and A/B testing platforms
- Strong written and presentation skills
- Maniacal attention to detail and strong organization skills
- Ability to thrive in and desire for a fast-paced, pivoting environment
- UX and/or copywriting experience a plus

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations.
California : [$138,000 - $194,750]
Connecticut and New York: [$138,000 - $178,250]
Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota and Washington: [$138,000 - $165,000]
Nevada: [$129.500 - $178,250]
Maryland and New Jersey: [$149,000 - $178,250]
Hawaii : [$129.500 – $155,000]
