Senior Manager/Director, SaaS Sales

Role Purpose:​​

The ideal candidate will lead the ​​direct sales execution​​ for Altium Develop.X, focusing on user adoption, ​​customer acquisition, revenue growth, and renewal targets​​ through ​​end-to-end client engagement​​. You will drive ​​GTM strategy​​ with a hands-on approach in ​​prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals​​, while ensuring seamless collaboration between sales, marketing, and product teams to align with ​​direct customer needs​​.

​​Key Responsibilities:​​

  1. ​​Sales Leadership & Revenue Accountability​​
    • Oversee sales team performance, setting clear KPIs for user adoption, customer acquisition and renewal targets. Optimize sales processes and tools (e.g., CRM) to drive efficiency and pipeline conversion.
  2. ​​GTM Strategy & Market Expansion​​
    • Execute GTM strategy for SaaS products in China, including market positioning and pricing strategies to accelerate adoption and revenue growth.
    • Analyze local market trends and competitor strategies to refine GTM tactics, ensuring rapid market penetration and share capture.
  3. ​​Cross-functional Collaboration​​
    • Work closely with marketing to develop localized campaigns and lead-generation programs tailored to SaaS buyer personas.
    • Coordinate with the customer success team and product teams to relay customer feedback and prioritize feature enhancements for the China market.
  4. ​​Risk & Compliance​​
    • Ensure all GTM and sales activities comply with local regulations (e.g., data privacy laws) and global standards.

​​Qualifications:​​

  • ​​Education:​​ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields; MBA preferred.
  • ​​Experience:​​ 10+ years in SaaS GTM, sales leadership, or business development, with a proven track record in scaling adoption and revenue in China.
  • ​​Skills:​​ Expertise in SaaS sales models, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and data analytics tools. Fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • ​​Traits:​​ Results-driven, strategic thinker with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferably with experience in industrial software companies.
