We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager - Delivery Operations to join our Cape Town office, supporting our South African delivery centre and providing operational and people support to ensure the smooth running of the office in line with group direction.

Role Overview
The Senior Manager – Delivery Operations will be responsible to lead the day-to-day running of our Cape Town office. This role is focused on execution, people leadership, and operational stability, ensuring the site delivers against group-defined plans and expectations.

This role is responsible for implementing group direction locally, managing people effectively, and ensuring the office operates smoothly and compliantly.

This role reports into the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and acts as the local operational and people lead for the South African office.

Requirements

Delivery & Operational Execution

• Ensure operational processes and workflows defined by the group are followed consistently and executed effectively.
• Support the rollout and ongoing use of operational systems and tools (including Microsoft Dynamics and HR systems).
• Maintain service continuity and operational stability within a small, fast-moving delivery environment.
• Oversee office operations, including facilities coordination, vendors, health & safety, and administrative processes.
• Ensure the delivery centre operates in line with local legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Identify operational or people-related risks and implement or escalate mitigation actions promptly.

People & HR Management

• Act as the local HR lead, overseeing recruitment coordination, onboarding, performance management, and retention.

• Ensure managers and team members have clear objectives, expectations, and role clarity. Provide regular updates to SLT on delivery performance, risks, and people matters.

• Handle employee relations matters locally, escalating to group HR where required.
• Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.
• Foster a positive, pragmatic, and delivery-focused team culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a delivery operations, people operations, or office operations leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience managing small to medium delivery teams across multiple functions.
• Solid understanding of South African labour law, employee relations, and HR fundamentals.
• Comfortable operating in an execution-led role, applying direction rather than defining strategy.
• Experience working with international stakeholders, ideally UK-based.
• Practical experience using ERP/CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and HR tools.
• Calm, pragmatic, and delivery-focused leadership style.
