Accountabilities:

·         Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of data engineers, fostering technical excellence, innovation, and career growth.

·         Define and execute the long-term technical strategy for the data platform, aligning with business objectives and product roadmaps.

·         Architect scalable, reliable, and secure data infrastructure leveraging cloud platforms (AWS) and modern data stack tools (Snowflake, Airflow, DBT).

·         Implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformation frameworks, and self-service analytics capabilities using BI tools (e.g., Sigma).

·         Drive data governance, quality, and compliance initiatives to meet enterprise and regulatory requirements.

·         Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to deliver actionable analytics and customer-facing insights.

·         Optimize cloud costs, monitor system performance, and establish incident response and operational excellence practices for data infrastructure.

Requirements

·         8+ years of experience in data engineering, including 4+ years in technical leadership roles managing teams of 5+ engineers.

·         Proven experience building and scaling data engineering organizations in high-growth technology environments.

·         Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, Airflow, DBT, AWS cloud services, and modern data stack architecture.

·         Proficiency in programming languages for data engineering (Python, SQL, Scala).

·         Strong knowledge of SaaS business models, product analytics, and customer lifecycle metrics.

·         Experience with self-service analytics platforms, dashboards, and enterprise reporting.

·         Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

·         Knowledge of data privacy regulations, security frameworks, and enterprise compliance requirements.
