ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead the creator and influencer strategy. The position entails defining and executing a complete strategy for creator and influencer marketing, overseeing its implementation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives, increase brand awareness, and maximize audience engagement.

The Creator Marketing team's goal is to help make Peloton the best place and top of mind/first choice for creators to create for and connect with their fans by celebrating creators and the success they are finding on/with Peloton in innovative, memorable ways.

The work is both scaled and custom, digital and IRL, and includes owned and operated/partner platforms and the development of new campaigns, systems, and tools for creators to run their own marketing on their distribution channels. Peloton needs a leader that can be scrappy and test initiatives on lean budgets, and once concepts are proven, execute ideas at scale. The role will work closely with Peloton’s creative team to bring concepts to reality, and is expected to hire strong ideators with a constant stream of ideas on how to amplify creators’ wins. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Social, Creator and Culture, and will be a key leader on the Consumer Marketing team.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Develop and drive global influencer and creator marketing strategies that support brand initiatives with a focus on brand building, storytelling, cultural relevance, performance and new Gen Z/ younger Millennial consumer engagement
  • Partner with Talent, VIP/Celebrity team to develop and implement a global and locally relevant creator ecosystem strategy inclusive of celebrity, ambassadors, influencers and creators to increase visibility, desirability and positive momentum for the brand
  • Identify and develop relationships with key influencers (new and existing) to build brand relevance through both organic gifting and paid partnerships
  • Own global influencer guidance, providing direction to regional BU teams on influencer identification and initiatives to drive engagement, earned media and cultural relevance
  • Partner with Senior Director to drive North America influencer strategy and execution, creating programs that build brand heat and value generation for NA business and develop/nurture relationships with Peloton creators/influencers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop briefs for content creation from concept to execution, managing talent-led campaigns and retail and outlet influencer activations
  • Identify innovative new influencer and creator partnerships and initiatives that support and amplify broader marketing campaigns as well as experiential activations (e.g., pop up events)
  • Oversee global measurement and reporting; drive, track and report on keys KPIs, including reach, engagement and conversions by campaign, aligned to broader campaign and business goals
  • Negotiate and manage brand ambassador contracts and/or advise agency partners on management
  • Responsible for influencer/creator gifting & seeding strategies and logistics
  • Manage agency of record and liaise with key partners to drive overall Creator/Influencer strategy
  • Manage influencer and creator marketing budgets
  • Be at the forefront of understanding marketing, culture and social media trends and serve as an expert in the space

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 6+ years of social marketing experience 
  • Digital native with an understanding of influencer strategies from owned, earned, and paid perspectives
  • In-depth knowledge of related social trends and industry sector events and experience working with celebrities, social influencers, and brand ambassadors
  • Proven experience in leading teams to execute client programs with a blend of strong time management, leadership, team building, mentoring, and client relation skills
  • Proven experience in the Consumer Brands space
  • Proven experience working in tandem with other creative agencies to develop comprehensive campaigns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as an ability to develop and present compelling proposals/GTM presentations

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range
$167,500$217,600 USD
