Senior Manager - Category Management (Non Food)

​We are seeking a senior category manager for the Non Food categories of MakroPRO. This individual will collaborate with our product, sales, and marketing team members to expand the categories, oversee campaigns, and achieve sales targets.

  • Manage and expand the Non Food categories of Makro Pro: Oversee the selection and growth of Non Food products in our inventory.
  • Drive Non Food Category growth following the strategy/direction to support Makro Digital business
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to develop and execute effective campaigns: Work together with teams to create successful marketing campaigns for Non Food products.
  • Define strategic range/categories/Customer type which will lead traffic and repeat sales to the platform by using data and customer research
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Non Food suppliers and negotiate favorable terms: Develop good relationships with suppliers and negotiate beneficial agreements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and recommend innovative products and strategies: Keep up with industry advancements and suggest new and innovative Non Food products and strategies.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in category and team management, preferably Non Food category business in online
  • Deep understanding of the Non Food industry
  • A comprehensive knowledge of the Non Food industry, including market trends, competitor activities, and industry advancements.
  • Business and marketing acumen: Knowledge of business and marketing strategies to develop and execute effective campaigns for Non Food products.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and negotiate with Non Food suppliers.
