Senior Machine Learning Engineer (NLP) - Mumbai

We are hiring an NLP Engineer to design and build LLM and RAG-based language systems that improve sales and pre-sales efficiency using AI-driven insights.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with focus on NLP
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in NLP with strong proficiency in Python
• Strong understanding of NLP concepts such as embeddings, retrieval, ranking, and text generation
• Experience working with LLMs such as OpenAI or open-source models
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience with prompt engineering, chaining, and agent-based workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced product-based startup environment
• Stable employment history with experience in product-based organisations

Responsibilities
• Design and develop clear and effective LLM and RAG-based NLP systems
• Implement and optimize prompt engineering, chaining, and agent workflows
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to build strong user experiences
• Analyze user feedback and improve model outputs continuously
• Stay updated with new NLP models, tools, and best practices
• Maintain engineering documentation, best practices, and usage guidelines
• Support quality assurance and production readiness by identifying and resolving issues
