As a member of the Intelligent Service, you will be part of the team deploying state-of-the-art MLOps infrastructure solutions for the production of Talend Product ML based features. As a ML Ops you will take part to the design, implementation, run and maintenance of the platform to deploy and monitor into production ML models developed by Data Scientist as scalable ML Services to be used by Talend end-users.

Responsibilities:

·       Design implement and manage in production the cloud native engineering infrastructure for the deployment of Talend Cloud App data collection pipelines and to support the enterprise machine learning systems at scale
·       Take offline models built by data scientists and turn them into a real machine learning production API service
·       Develop and deploy scalable infrastructure and services for Talend Product teams to handle machine learning training and inference
·       Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve performance, maintainability, and reliability of our machine learning systems
·       Apply software engineering rigor and best practices including CI/CD, automation, etc. with an emphasis on data security
·       Facilitate the development and deployment of proof-of-concept machine learning systems
 
Skills:
·       Experience building end-to-end systems as a Platform Engineer, ML/Dev Ops Engineer, or Data Engineer (or equivalent)
·       Strong software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems
·       Fluency in Clojure and ability to learn new languages quickly
·       Experience developing microservices with containers and Kubernetes in cloud computing environments (AWS preferred)
·       Experience building custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs
·       Experience with distributed event store and streaming platform (ex: Apache Kafka)
·       Comfort with Linux development environment
·       Comfort with Infra-as-Code methodology (ex : Terraform, Strimzi)
·       Strong understanding of software testing, performance benchmarking, and continuous integration (ex: Jenkins, Github actions)
Nice to Have: 
·       Familiarity with some MLOps platform (ex: Sagemaker)
·       Exposure to machine learning methodology in Production environment and best practices
·       Familiarity with one or more data-oriented workflow orchestration frameworks (ex: MLFlow, KubeFlow)
 
Education & Experience

2–5 years experience building production-quality software
