We are seeking a skilled senior legal counsel with a focus on contracts drafting to join our legal team. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts within the contracts department. Your main objective will be to ensure that all contracts are carefully drafted, meet company standards, and are aligned with our business objectives. You will also be responsible for providing legal advice to the business on general and specific legal issues as they may arise.
Responsibilities:
- Draft agreements and other legal documents
- Work with cross-functional teams to review and finalize contracts
- Communicate and negotiate with external parties (external counsel, public authorities, contracting parties, etc.)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify contractual risks and provide customized solutions
- Conduct legal research on various business issues and provide guidance
- Develop and maintain contracts templates
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and legal environments, especially in the e-commerce sector
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all contracts and related documents
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a legal counsel in a corporate or law firm setting (preferably within the financial sector, startup eco-system, manufacturing or export-import industries)
- Strong knowledge of contract law, legal drafting, and negotiation principles
- Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts
- Master’s degree (or higher) in law
- Bar license (not required, but certainly a plus)
