So, what will your new role look like?
As a Senior Legal Counsel (12-month contract), you will play a key role in supporting Workleap’s legal function during a period of continued growth. Reporting to the CFO and working closely with internal stakeholders, you will provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice across a broad range of topics, including privacy, corporate, commercial contracting, and employment law matters.
You will act as a trusted legal partner to the business, helping teams navigate complexity while enabling smart, scalable decisions. Your role will directly strengthen Workleap’s legal foundations and support the company’s operations across multiple jurisdictions.

What does your future team look like?
You’ll join a collaborative and evolving legal function that works closely with teams across the organization, including product, sales, finance, and people operations. The legal team plays a central role in supporting a SaaS business operating at scale, partnering closely with leaders across the organization to enable sound decision-making and manage risk effectively.
You will report to the CFO and work alongside internal and external legal partners as needed.

The legal team is at the heart of several key initiatives: scaling our commercial operations, strengthening privacy and compliance, and supporting strategic growth across new markets. A top priority is positioning the legal team as a proactive, business-savvy partner helping to drive Workleap’s mission forward.
Salary range: $135–165k CAD.
This range reflects our Canada-wide compensation scale. Final offers may be adjusted based on the candidate’s region to align with local market conditions.
