Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to design, develop, and deliver impactful training programs for a global software organization. This role requires a strategic thinker who can create engaging learning experiences from the ground up, aligning with company policies, practices, and emerging technology trends. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, adept at delivering training to all levels of employees—from individual contributors to senior executives—and skilled in leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance all aspects of learning design and delivery.

This individual will also ensure that business strategy and company values are embedded into every learning experience, fostering alignment between employee development and organizational goals.

What you will do:

  • Design & Develop Training Programs:
    • Lead systematic training needs analysis using surveys, focus groups, performance data and SME/manager interviews to identify skill gaps
    • Identify emerging skills and competencies required to keep pace with technological advancements.
    • Develop and deliver compliance and onboarding programs aligned with company policies, values and legal/regulatory requirements
    • Integrate AI-driven tools and methodologies to optimize content creation, personalization, and learner engagement.
    • Infuse business strategy and company values into all learning initiatives to reinforce organizational culture and priorities.
    • Create comprehensive learning solutions based on company policies, best practices, and evolving business needs.
    • Administer and optimize LMS Cornerstone to deliver training and building reporting dashboards and analytics.
  • Deliver Training Globally:
    • Facilitate engaging sessions for diverse audiences across geographies and organizational levels.
    • Adapt delivery methods for virtual, hybrid, and in-person environments using AI-enabled platforms for enhanced interactivity.
  • Content Creation:
    • Build interactive and visually compelling training materials using tools such as Articulate, Easy Generator, or Microsoft Learning Coach, and incorporate AI-powered features for efficiency and innovation.
    • Maintain expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft business applications, including leveraging AI capabilities within these tools.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Use AI analytics to evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on data-driven insights.
    • Stay current with L&D trends, technologies, and best practices, including advancements in AI for learning and development.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and delivering corporate training programs.
    • Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD), Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) are desirable, as they demonstrate advanced expertise and commitment to best practices in learning and development.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in e-learning development tools (Articulate, Easy Generator, Microsoft Learning Coach).
    • Proficiency with authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise) and multimedia tools to create interactive, gamified learning experiences.
    • Expert-level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including AI-enhanced features.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft AI tools and applications for content creation, personalization, and analytics.
  • AI Competencies
    • Ability to leverage generative AI tools for creating learning content, assessments, and multimedia assets.
    • Understanding of AI-driven personalization in learning paths and adaptive learning technologies.
    • Competence in using AI analytics for measuring training effectiveness and predicting skill gaps.
    • Familiarity with prompt engineering and best practices for AI-assisted content development.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Build and maintain strong partnerships with business unit leaders, SMEs, HRBP’s and IT to co-curate and deliver learning that aligns with strategic objectives and company values
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
    • Creative problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken).

 

This role would require the candidate to be available until 10am EST from time to time and until 9am EST daily to interact with manager and team members.
